He graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1996 and completed his PHD in the Department of Periodontology at the same university in 2002 and received the title of “Periodontology Specialist”
He has received various trainings on the EFQM model and total quality management since 2004 and served as an award evaluator at the Turkish Quality Association (KALDER) for two years. He has articles published in international journals on periodontics and genetics and makes presentations on implantology, aesthetic dentistry and cad cam applications, clinic design and clinic management.
He is a member of Turkish Periodontology Association, European Federation of Periodontology, Osseointegration Academy Association and Aesthetic Dentistry Academy Association.
In 2005, he founded Sonodent Dental Clinic with Dr. Günseli Uygur. Cem Uygur still continues his work as Clinical Director of Sonodent Dental Clinic.
